Brahmani River Pellet Limited (BRPL) – a Stemcor project, has started the trial phase of its 4 Million Ton (MnT) Iron Pellet plant at Jajpur (Odisha) w.e.f the 1st of July.
The manufacturer has produced Fe 64 Pellet and is targeting about 80,000-1 lac tons of total output for the month of July.
Its Pellet plant is connected to its 4 MnT beneficiation plant at Barbil (Odisha) by a 220 km slurry pipeline.
It has procured Fe 63.5 Iron ore from its own mines – Aryan Mining Corporation Limited (AMTC) and from local miners based in the state of Odisha such as MESCO, KJS Ahluwalia and few others.
BRPL will start offering Pellet in domestic market in a couple of days more, after getting the required specification of its material and is targeting its sales in the Odisha market.
Initially, Pellet offers are expected to stand at Rs 7,000/MT (loaded to wagon).
