Exports of Pig iron from Brazil saw a sharp reduction in the month of February.
As compared to February 2012, the total exports figure dropped by 61%.
The major reason resulting in weak exports market was limited buying activities from the US based buyers.
Brazil supplied a total of 128,780 tons of Pig iron for exports purposes, in the month of February this year.
Whereas, in the same month, the last year, it was 333,132 tons in total.
