From Jan’16-Nov’16, iron ore export from Brazil summed up to 338.67 MnT, up by 4% Y-o-Y.
According to the figures released recently by country’s foreign trade ministry – MDIC, iron ore export from Brazil moved up by 5% M-o-M from 30.01 MnT in Oct’16 to 31.44 MnT in Nov’16.
However comparing on yearly premises, the figure has gone up by 12% Y-o-Y. Brazil’s iron ore exports in Nov’15 was recorded at 28 MnT.
From Jan’16-Nov’16, Brazil exported 338.67 MnT iron ore, up by 4% Y-o-Y. In the same period last year, Brazilian iron ore export was recorded at 327.2 MnT.
The average export price for Brazilian iron ore in Nov’16 was around USD 39.2/MT, FoB Brazil, up by USD 2.2/MT from Oct’16 as it was USD 37/MT, FoB Brazil. However, on Y-o-Y basis, average export prices rose by USD 7/MT against USD 32.2/MT, FoB Brazil in Nov’15.
