Brazil, the world’s second-largest Pig iron exporter, has exported 0.18 MnT Pig iron in Nov’16 according to trade statistics released by Brazilian customs.
Brazilian Pig iron exports have registered a growth of 80% M-o-M in Nov’16 against 0.10 MnT in Oct’16. On similar lines, exports moved up by 13% Y-o-Y against 0.16 MnT in Nov’15.
In the first 11 months of 2016, the country exported 1.97 MnT Pig iron, down by 19% as compared to 2.43 MnT in the same time period prior this year.
Country’s Pig iron exports majorly directed to Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Vietnam etc. In Nov’16, the country exports Pig iron exports to Mexico was recorded at 0.03 MnT, Netherlands 0.06 MnT and Mexico 0.03 MnT.
