Leading global iron ore miner Vale SA has held preliminary discussions with mining giant Anglo American regarding the development of the Serpentina iron ore project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, through a potential partnership. Vale has issued an update stating that in partnership with Anglo, it aims to leverage the existing mineral processing and logistics infrastructure at Minas-Rio, which includes a transport pipeline and a port.
