Brazil: Slab exports up 4%, m-o-m, in Jun’22

Brazil’s slab exports were up marginally by 4.36% m-o-m in Jun’22 to 0.61 mnt from 0.58 mnt in May’22, as per data recently released by customs.
The United States was the largest importer with 0.39 mnt, followed by Mexico with 0.14 mnt.
Export volumes rose marginally by 17% to 3.84 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Jun’22 as against 3.26 mnt in the year-ago period.
