Brazil: Pig iron exports rise over 25%, m-o-m, in Jun’22

Brazil’s pig iron exports rose by 27.30% m-o-m in Jun’22 to 0.41 mnt from 0.32 mnt in May’22, as per data recently released by customs.
The United States was the major importer with 0.30 mnt.
Export volumes rose by 33% to 1.81 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Jun’22 as against 1.36 mnt in the year-ago period.
