Brazil: Pig iron exports fall nearly 30% m-o-m in Oct

Brazil’s pig iron exports fell by 27.98% m-o-m to 286,062 t in Oct’22 as against 397,170 t in Sep, as per Customs data.
The US was the largest importer at 141,868 t followed by the Netherlands at 67,762 t.
However, export volumes increased by 34% y-o-y to 3.13 mnt in Jan-Oct’22 as against 2.34 mnt in the year-ago period.
