Brazil: Pig iron exports fall by 23% m-o-m in Jan’23

Brazil’s pig iron exports declined by 23% m-o-m to 236,261 t in Jan’23 against 305,129 t in Dec’22, as per Customs data.
The US was the largest importer with 203,697 t in January.
The export volumes decreased by 9.4% y-o-y compared to 260,773 t in Jan’22.
