Brazil: Pig iron exports fall by 12% m-o-m in Feb’23

Brazil’s pig iron exports declined by 12% m-o-m to 207,837 t in Feb’23 against 236,261 t in Jan’23, as per customs data.
The US was the largest importer with 137,172 t in the month under review.
The cumulative export volumes decreased by 13% y-o-y to 444,098 t in Jan-Feb’23 compared to 513,096 t in the year-ago period.
