Brazil: Iron ore exports up 8% y-o-y in Mar’25

Brazil’s iron ore exports rose 8% y-o-y to 28.4 mnt in Mar’25 from 26.3 mnt in Mar’24, according to customs data.
Volumes increased by 12% m-o-m to 28.4 mnt in Mar from 25.4mnt in Feb.
The average export price of iron ore from Brazil stood at $71.6/t FOB in Mar, down significantly from $92.5/t FOB in Mar’24.
