Brazil: Iron ore exports rise 5% y-o-y in Jul’25

  • Brazil’s iron ore exports rose 4.7% y-o-y to 41.1 mnt in Jul’25, compared to 39.3 mnt in Jul’24, as per customs data.
  • Shipments rose by 13.2% m-o-m against 36.3 mnt in Jun’25.
  • Average export prices fell to $63.7/t FOB y-o-y in Jul’25 from $73.2/t in Jul’24 amid a downtrend in global iron ore tags.
