Brazil: Iron ore exports inch up y-o-y in Apr’25

Brazil’s iron ore exports edged up by 3% to 30.4 mnt in Apr’25 compared to 29.6 mnt in Apr’24, as per customs data.
Moreover, shipments rose by 7% to 30.4 mnt in Apr’25 from 28.4 mnt in Mar’25.
Average export prices fell to $68.1/t FOB in Apr’25 from $81.4/t in Apr’24, amid the rise in shipments.
