Brazil: Iron ore exports hold firm y-o-y in Sep’25

  • Brazil’s iron ore exports stood stable y-o-y at 36.5 mnt in Sep’25, against 36.7 mnt in Sep’24, as per customs data.
  • Meanwhile, shipments dropped by 9.2% m-o-m against 40.2 mnt in the previous month.
  • Average export prices edged up by 4% to $69.6/t FOB in Sep’25 from $66.9/t in Sep’24, amid a drop in shipments.
