Brazil: Iron Ore Export Decline 9% M-o-M in June’18

World’s second largest iron ore exporter – Brazil has recorded an export volumes at 35.31 MnT in June’18. The exports witnessed a decline of 9% M-o-M in June’18 as against 38.98 MnT in May’18.

However, on yearly basis, iron ore exports from Brazil recorded 5% increase in June’18 as compared to June’17 exports at 33.79 MnT.

The monthly average price of iron ore increased to USD 45.5/MT, FoB in June’18, up by 15% compared to USD 39.7/MT in May’18. The average price for June’18 depicted a rise of 13% on yearly basis as against USD 40.4/MT in June’17.
