Brazil: Flat steel exports jump 8%, m-o-m, in Aug’22

Flat steel exports from Brazil jumped 8% to 250,412 t in Aug’22 from 231,510 t a month ago, SteelMint data shows. Export volumes of HRCs and plates were the highest at 103,181 t followed by galvanised steel and pipes/tubes at 73,298 t and 45,529 t, respectively. Argentina, the US and Portugal were leading importers in Aug’22.
