Brazil’s finished flat steel exports stood at 166,418 t in Aug’21, down 39% against 273,939 t a month ago, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint.
- HRC/plate exports surged 74% to 70,856 t in Aug compared with 40,720 t in Jul
- CRC exports plunged to 1,893 t in Aug as against 21,806 t in the preceding month.
In the Jan-Aug’21 period, finished flat steel exports reached 1.45 mn t, up 2% on year.
