Brazil: Ferro silicon exports edge up by 3% y-o-y in CY22

Brazil’s ferro silicon exports stood at 153,177 t in CY22, inching up by 3% compared to 148,019 t in CY21, as per customs data.
Leading importers were Japan (58,638 t), the United States (28,258 t), and the Netherlands (19,482 t).
Ferro silicon exports grew by 16% m-o-m to 14,199 t in Dec’22 compared to 12,218 t in Nov’22.
