Brazil: Ferro silicon exports drop marginally by 6% m-o-m in September

Brazil’s ferro silicon exports dropped by 6% m-o-m to 12,824 t in Sep’22 against 13,653 t in August, as per Customs data. The leading importers of Brazilian ferro silicon were Japan (5,239 t), The Netherlands (2,140 t), and the US (1,993 t). However, in Q3CY’22, cumulative exports remained almost stable at 110,747 t y-o-y compared to the corresponding period last year.
