Brazil: Ferro silicon exports down by 5% m-o-m in Jan’22

Brazil’s ferro silicon exports decreased by 5% m-o-m to 13,381 t in Jan’22 from 14,055 t in Dec’21, according to customs data maintained with SteelMint. Export shipments fell due to low bookings owing to winter holidays. The top importers of Brazilian ferro silicon in January were Japan (5,417 t), USA (3,288 t), Italy (972 t), and Taiwan (814 t).
