Inspite of having a good supply in Turkey in July, Russian coal prices have not moved up as the global market itself is hit by lower Coal prices.
From the market, it has been assessed that Russian origin 6,000 kcal/kg materials (size 0-50) has been traded at USD 90-93/MT CFR Turkey in July '13, which was traded at USD 93-95/MT CFR in June this year.
South African and Colombian suppliers have set prices at USD 81/MT CFR Turkey (USD 86/MT CFR in June '13) and USD 84-86/MT CFR Turkey (USD 85-87/MT CFR in June '13) respectively.
Whereas, no adjustment has been seen from Ukrainian exports as their 6,000 kcal/kg of material is available at USD 75/MT FoB Yuzhny, but the level is expected to fall slightly in the future.
Turkish consumers are involved in very few trades due to Ramadan and no major changes is expected to come up till mid-August '13. The market may see some demand and is expected to get better by end of August '13.
