1. Billet prices dropped in a week, as mentioned: Hyderabad Rs 500/MT, Durgapur and Kolkata Rs 400/MT, Jaipur Rs 300/MT, Raipur, Bhilai, Mandi, Chennai and Kandla Rs 200/MT.
2. Whereas, offers moved up in places such as Mumbai Rs 100/MT, Bilaspur Rs 200/MT and Ahmedabad Rs 500/MT.
3. Some stability was seen in prices at Raigarh (Rs 28,400/MT), Jalna (Rs 30,500/MT) and Goa (Rs 30,300/MT).
4. Manufacturers at Bilaspur made no offers after Rs 28,200-300/MT, quoted in the start of the week.
5. Traders said, “it is difficult to make some predictions for Billet markets in the week to come”.
