Manufacturers of Billet in Southeast Asia continue to offer the material at more or less same prices in comparison to prices quoted in the last couple of months.
On account of no movement seen in scrap prices and some decent demand from Indonesia, Billet prices are firm in the range of $550-575/MT CFR.
Billet producers based in countries such as Russia and Malaysia have quoted prices at around $550/MT CFR and in the range of $580-590/MT CFR (higher as compared to prices in Southeast Aasia) respectively.
