Billet offers rise by Rs 400/MT in South India   

Billet trading volumes remain limited across the country.

“Billet markets in Tamil Nadu unexpected to show some improvement in near term as 35 % power cut continues and furnaces are operational for close to fifteen days only. 

There is a limitation of units a plant can use each month. Billet offers rise by Rs 500/MT today”, said manufacturers.

“Billet price at  Mandi Gobindgarh increases by Rs 400/MT on high power tariff”, said a Mandi based trader.
