Billet offers in India rise up to Rs 500/MT

Billet prices increase in the range of Rs 200-500/MT on few reasons such as shortage of the material, power crisis in Eastern and Northern India and less production. But trading volumes have not improved.

In Mandi Gobindgarh, Billet is being quoted at Rs 400/MT more as availability is less and production has come down due to power shortage.

Buyers at
Raipur were asking for low priced Billet at around Rs 200/MT the last day but sellers were not unwilling to make offers.

Traders said that sales of Billet is not taking place in good quantities and market is unpredictable.
