Billet makers in India unwilling to sell at lower prices

Billet buyers look to make purchases at around Rs 200/MT less to what sellers are offering at present.

Suppliers on the other side are not ready to meet with sales at lower prices.

This has ultimately accounted for less trading activities in the semi finished market and falling of prices is a big concern.

Most of the Billet manufacturers in India have offered Billet at prices quoted the previous day.

Whereas, offers reduced by Rs 200/MT in locations such as Raipur, Chennai and Kandla and increased by the same in Jalna.
