In most of the places across India, Billet offers slipped by Rs 100-200/MT today.
Rolling mills are running at quite low capacities in Durgapur, West Bengal and it might take some more time for production to pick up.
The semi finished material, Billet is being traded at Rs 33,600/MT (Inclusive of ED & taxes) and manufacturers have reduced offers by Rs 2,000/MT in a month's time.
It is heard that Billet was exported to Japan in the previous week as demand in domestic market has not been very encouraging.
