Demand for Billet has improved in the lower levels. Raipur Billet was offered at Rs. 32,600/MT yesterday but is trading with a rise in price at Rs. 32,800/MT (Basic price).
“But, it will be too early to say if prices will sustain at these levels as buyers are still cautious and much of buying is not expected till the end of this month,” said a Raipur based trader.
Billet trading prices have slipped in places like Durgapur and Hyderabad at Rs. 300/MT and Rs. 200/MT and are quoted at Rs. 35,200/MT (Including all) and Rs. 36,500/MT (Basic prices) respectively.
