BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index for Raipur, fell by INR 200/t ($2/t) to INR 9,450/t ($105/t) DAP. Around 24,000 t of pellets (Fe 62.5-63%) were sold by local suppliers at INR 9,300-9,600/t exw Raipur at the revised offers.
BigMint’s billet index slipped further by INR 200/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 36,450/t exw-Raipur. The PDRI-to-billet spread for standalone induction furnaces in Raipur was assessed at INR 13,350/t.
Sponge iron prices across India declined by INR 50-350/tonne (t) day-on-day (d-o-d).
