PELLEX, BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index for Raipur, rose by INR 100/t ($1/t) to INR 9,600/t ($107/t) DAP on 30 December. Deals for around 20,000 t were concluded by Raipur-based sellers at INR 9,400-9,500/t ($105-106/t) exw.
BigMint’s domestic end-cutting scrap index, tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market, increased by INR 300/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 36,800/t DAP on 30 December 2025. Sponge iron (CDRI) prices in Mandi Gobindgarh increased by INR 100/t d-o-d to INR 29,300/t DAP. Steel grade pig iron prices in Ludhiana also saw a d-o-d rise of INR 500/t, settling at INR 37,500/t DAP.
