Iron ore concentrate (Fe 63%) prices in Jabalpur, India, witnessed a marginal increase of INR 50/t ($1/t), BigMint’s bi-weekly index assessed at INR 4,900/tonne (t) ($57/t) exw Jabalpur.
BigMint’s billet index further declined marginally by INR 100/tonne (t) d-o-d, settling at INR 39,400/t exw-Raipur.
Prices of sponge iron in India showed volatile sentiments with prices dropping by INR 50-300/tonne (t) across regions, PDRI prices closed at a range of INR 24,800-29,800/t while CDRI prices were assessed at INR 22,500-25,800/t.
