BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index fell by INR 150/tonne (t) ($2/t) to INR 8,900/t ($108/t) DAP Raipur on 23 July, 2024 compared to the last assessment on 19 July.Around 100,000 t of raw pellet deals were concluded in the Raipur region at INR 8,950/t DAP Raipur by the pellet producers.
Sponge iron prices in India rose by INR 50-250/tonne (t) across markets. PDRI market prices closed at the range of INR 24,200-26,500/t and CDRI prices at INR 26,000-30,000/t. About 11,800 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 23 July compared to 7,300 t on 22 July.
