BigMint’s billet index rose marginally by INR 50/t d-o-d, settling at INR 36,950/t exw-Raipur. The PDRI-to-billet spread for standalone induction furnaces in Raipur was assessed at INR 12,500/t.
India’s sponge iron market recorded an upward movement, with prices rising by INR 50300/tonne (t) day-on-day. Approximately 21,300 t of sponge iron were booked today across major regions.
