BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index for Raipur, fell by INR 200/t to INR 10,400/t ($112/t) DAP. BigMint recorded deals for around 10,000 t, concluded at INR 10,200-10,300/t ($110-111/t) exw-Raipur by local pellet producers.
BigMint’s billet index in Raipur rose sharply by INR 500/t day-on-day to INR 42,250/t ex-works. The conversion spread from pellet-based sponge iron (PDRI) to billets for standalone induction furnaces in Raipur was assessed at around INR 16,300/t.
Domestic sponge iron prices softened by INR 100-300/t d-o-d across most regions. The recorded trade volume today stood at around 21,300 t.
