Sponge iron prices in India rose INR 100-650/tonne (t) d-o-d amid moderate transactions across markets. PDRI prices closed at INR 24,600-27,500/t, while CDRI was at INR 27,400-31,400/t.
BigMint’s billet index increased by INR 250/t, reaching INR 41,300/t exw-Raipur, and Finished steel prices up INR 400/t d-o-d in Raipur.
BigMint’s domestic end-cutting scrap index, tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market, increased by INR 200/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 37,100/t DAP.
