BigMint’s daily trade sheet – 15 July’26

According to BigMint’s latest bi-weekly assessment, Fe 62% iron ore concentrate was assessed at INR 4,450/t ($47/t) ex-works. Meanwhile, Fe 63% concentrate offers were heard at around INR 4,950/t ($52/t) ex-works.

BigMint’s billet index fell slightly by INR 50/t d-o-d to INR 37,550/t exw-Raipur. The conversion spread between pellet-based direct reduced iron (PDRI) and billets for standalone induction furnaces in the Raipur cluster was assessed at INR 14,300/t.

The Indian sponge iron market exhibited a mixed trend today, with prices remaining stable to dropping marginally across key production regions. BigMint recorded sponge iron trade volume of around 14,300 t.
