Indias sponge iron market witnessed a price hike by INR 50-250/t on a d-o-d basis. Around 9,000 tonnes of Sponge iron booked across India.
BigMint’s billet index declined by INR 100/t day-on-day (d-o-d) to INR 35,500/t exw-Raipur. The PDRI-to-billet spread for standalone induction furnaces in Raipur was assessed at INR 12,100/t.
