Bhutan Ferro Silicon prices have found support at current levels, showing very little indication of change as demand remains stable.

Ferro Silicon Prices remains unchanged in the market on steady demand. Current offers at Bhutan are balanced at INR 77,000 /MT (grade70-75). Producers in Bhutan are offering Ferro Silicon for exports at USD 1,290-1,300 /MT FoB Bhutan. A source from Bhutan revealed that they have concluded deals, in the range of USD 1,330-1,350 /MT CIF Germany and Italy.

A producer source from Bhutan remarked “The market has been looking really steady of late; showing very little signs of any significant movement in either direction .So I think there aren’t going to be much movement in prices”.

SteelMint learned from market sources that in the coming 1-2 weeks, Ferro Silicon market should run steadily and prices may stay at current levels. With the Rupee strengthening prices for Ferro Silicon are unlikely to change.
