A ferro silicon major has reduced offers for Aug’21 dispatches to INR 127,500/t, as per latest reports. The decrease can be attributed to limited domestic buying interest amid reduced steel production from induction furnaces, as per SteelMint reports. Although the global market remains strong, Indian and Bhutanese smelters believe that prices might correct further on slow domestic buying interest.
