Ferro silicon offers from Bhutan for August have been announced at INR 91,000/t exw, a m-o-m drop of INR 4,000/t exw. Sources attribute this decline to reduced demand and buyer resistance to higher prices during the previous month. Indian producers, especially in the north eastern region, are expected to adopt these new rates in the coming days.
