Bhushan Steel: Iron Ore & Pellet Sourcing Up 24% in Jun’17

Bhushan Steel – a major integrated steel maker has increased its monthly iron ore & pellet sourcing by 24% in Jun’17.

The company’s iron ore and pellet sourcing was up by 24% M-o-M from 0.58 MnT in May’17 to 0.72 MnT in Jun’17. The steel maker sourced the total of 23 pellet rakes in Jun’17.

The steel maker increased its iron ore procurement by 120% from Serajuddin Mines from 0.10 MnT in May’17 to 0.23 MnT in Jun’17. On similar lines, its procurement from OMC was up 12% from 0.06 MnT in May’17 to 0.07 MnT in Jun’17.

However the manufacturer’s sourcing from Indrani Patnaik Mines was reduced by 18% from 0.20 MnT to 0.17 MnT compared with May’17. On similar lines, its procurement from Rungta Mines was down by 33% from 0.10 MnT in May’17 to 0.07 MnT in Jun’17.

Bhushan steel’s pellet procurement also witnessed an increase in Jun’17 and it procured 23 rakes last month compared to 16 rakes in May’17.
