Bhushan Steel – a major integrated steel maker has decreased its monthly iron ore & pellet sourcing by 14% in Aug’17.
The company’s iron ore and pellet sourcing was down by 14% M-o-M from 0.4 MnT in Jul’17 to 0.35 MnT in Aug’17. The steel maker sourced the total of 4 pellet rakes in Aug’17.
The steel maker increased its iron ore procurement by 68% from Serajuddin Mines from 0.09 MnT in Jul’17 to 0.15 MnT in Aug’17. On similar lines, its procurement from OMC was up 918% from 0.01 MnT in Jul’17 to 0.06 MnT in Aug’17.
However the manufacturer’s sourcing from Indrani Patnaik Mines was reduced to 32% from 0.13 MnT in Jul’17 to 0.09 MnT in Aug’17. On similar lines, its procurement from Rungta Mines was down by 100% from 0.03 MnT in Jul’17 to nil in Aug’17.
Bhushan steel’s pellet procurement witnessed a decrease in Aug’17 and it procured 4 rakes last month compared to 7 rakes in Jul’17.
