Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is an integrated power plant equipment manufacturer and one of the largest engineering and manufacturing company of its kind in India.
The company had invited a global tender for purchase of 10,000 MT carbon steel bloom for manufacturing of hot and cold finished seamless steel tubes/pipes as per Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The tender was due on 21 Apr’16 but now it got extended up to 13 May’16 at 14:00 hrs IST.

The total quantity of bloom is to be supplied in 4 lots (2,500 MT each) and the delivery of all the 4 lots should be completed within 140 days from the date of LOI/PO released in CFR basis. For indigenous suppliers, the delivery should be completed within 150 days.
