Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) recorded production at 30.5 mnt in FY22, up 30% y-o-y. BCCL is the subsidiary of state-run Coal India Limited, established to operate coking coal mines. The company has also announced commissioning of newly constructed Madhuband washery of 5 mnt capacity to supply coking coal. Currently, BCCL has a washed coal capacity of 1.2 mnt per year.
