Bangladesh imported 2.04 mnt of non-coking coal in Nov’25, marking a notable 16% drop from Oct’s 2.42 mnt. Despite the monthly decline, overall intake surged 122% y-o-y from 0.92 mnt in Nov’24, reflecting a sharp rebound in demand. Indonesia continued as the country’s primary supplier with 1.82 mnt though this was 21% lower m-o-m while South Africa contributed 0.22 mnt during the period.
