A major steelmaker in Chittagong, Bangladesh has recently concluded a 37,000 t bulk-cargo for mixed grade imported scrap, from a USA-West Coast based supplier, comprising of 24,000 t of Shredded scrap at $280/t and HMS 1&2(80:20) at $275/t CFR Chittagong, for July’20 shipment. In first major US-origin bulk-booking by Bangladesh mill since mid-April, prices have moved down against early-June offers.
