Bangladesh: Steel mills hike rebar prices by up to BDT 3,500/t ($41/t)

Domestic rebar market activity in Bangladesh rose owing to increasing demand, limited raw material and rising scrap prices.
As per SteelMint assessment, prices increased by BDT 2,500-3,500/t ($29-41/t) on w-o-w basis.
Major mills are offering rebar (10-16 mm) at BDT 84,000-87,000/t ($979-1,014/t) exy-Chittagong.
