Two leading Bangladeshi steel mills have booked a couple of bulk US-origin scrap cargoes for Jul’21 shipments. One cargo consists of 32,000 t of shredded scrap and the other a mix of shredded and HMS. The deal for the shredded material was heard concluded at around $535-540/t, CFR Chittagong, sources informed SteelMint.
