Bangladesh: Steel mills book 5,000 t of containerised imported scrap

Containerised scrap trades in Bangladesh remained active for another week, sources informed SteelMint.
In the recent deals, a total of 5,000 t of UK-origin shredded scrap and PNS material were booked at $595/t CFR, HMS at $550/t and bundles at $515/t CFR Bangladesh, respectively.
SteelMint’s assessment for shredded scrap stands at $590/t CFR Chittagong, an increase of $5/t d-o-d.
