Bangladesh-based steel mills have booked two bulk scrap cargoes from USA and Australia in the last couple of days for Feb’21 shipments, sources have reported to SteelMint. Around 30,000 t of USA origin cargo, comprising of HMS 1&2(80:20) and shredded has been booked in the range of 500-505/t CFR Chittagong. Another bulk vessel has been booked for around 25,000 t of Australian origin scrap cargo at $495-500/t CFR basis.
